Teacher/Instructor To Teach Lego Based Education /models To Jobs in North Shore Young Engineers Cambridge, MA

Requirements:

• As an Instructor, you’ll engage with young learners, guiding them on an unforgettable journey into the world of engineering. You’ll help them discover and explore concepts that could spark a lifelong passion. 

• Experience in instruction or tutoring for children.  
• Passionate about building lego bricks models and help children mentor.
• Must be mobile and ready to bring the magic of engineering to various locations.
• Eagerness to learn – no prior engineering knowledge required! We will provide you with all the training and resources you need to succeed. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Class Sessions:Lead interactive Lego bricks building sessions, demonstrating techniques, providing clear instructions, and managing student participation. 

• Student Engagement:Foster a fun and positive learning environment, encourage creativity, and address individual needs of students. 

• Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safe use of Lego materials and maintain a structured classroom environment. 

• Assessment and Feedback:

Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements. 

• Must be mobile and ready to bring the magic of engineering to various locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Passion for Lego Building:

Enthusiasm for creative Lego brick construction and a genuine interest in engaging children through play. 

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal communication to clearly explain instructions and provide guidance to students. 

Leadership Abilities:

Ability to manage a group of children, maintain order, and facilitate collaborative learning. 

Creative Thinking:

Encourage innovative ideas and promote problem-solving skills during building activities. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Lego Robotics or Coding: Familiarity with Lego robotics kits and coding platforms to incorporate STEM elements into classes. 

Teaching Certification or Background: Prior experience as a teacher, tutor, or camp counselor. (not mandatory)

Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency with basic computer applications to access lesson plans and manage student information.
