Job Summary – Entry-Level Data Engineer (AI Focus)

We are looking for a curious and technically driven Entry-Level Data Engineer with an interest in AI to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, and ETL processes, along with a keen interest in supporting machine learning and AI-driven applications. This role involves building and maintaining data infrastructure, ensuring data quality and availability for AI models, and collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams. Familiarity with SQL, Python, cloud platforms, and big data tools is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data.
Collaborate with data scientists to prepare and deliver datasets for machine learning and AI applications.
Write and optimize SQL and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools such as S3, BigQuery, or Databricks to manage scalable data infrastructure.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across data systems used in AI workflows.
Participate in the integration and deployment of machine learning models into production environments.
Support monitoring and troubleshooting of data workflows and pipelines.
Document data structures, pipeline processes, and data management practices.
Learn and apply best practices in data engineering, MLOps, and CI/CD for data and AI pipelines.
