Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate QA Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. This position is based in Austin, TX, and offers competitive compensation ranging from $25 to $35 per hour. The role is open to a wide range of applicants, from novices with 0 years of experience to seasoned professionals with 4 years in the field. The work schedule will primarily be in the evening. The ideal candidate should have a valid work visa and be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or on H4, F1, L2, OPT, or CPT visa status.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and SOAP UI.
• Perform thorough QA checks on web services and ASP .Net software.
• Identify and document bugs, and track quality assurance metrics.
• Collaborate with the IT Software/Services team to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a minimum of 0 to 4 years of experience in QA / Testing or a related field. They should also have strong knowledge of ASP .Net, Web Services, Java, Quality Assurance, Selenium, and SOAP UI. A work permit is required, and the applicant should be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or on H4, F1, L2, OPT, or CPT visa status.

Skills

• Proficient in ASP .Net (a framework for building web apps and services)
• Strong knowledge of Web Services (for communication between electronic devices)
• Proficient in Java (a general-purpose programming language)
• Quality Assurance expertise (to ensure a product or service's quality)
• Proficiency in Selenium (a tool for automating web browsers)
• Familiarity with SOAP UI (a testing tool for SOAP and REST APIs)

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The compensation package includes W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, and 1099-Contract options.
