Job Overview

We are currently seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic team at Tekarch technology in Los Angeles, CA. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a keen interest in technology and software development, especially in areas related to quality assurance and testing. Working on a competitive hourly rate, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications and systems. You should be able to validate and verify the performance of web services, use Java for quality assurance, and be proficient in Selenium, SOAP UI, Python, QTP, functional testing, and manual testing.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform both manual and automated testing on software applications and systems.
• Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functionality, output, online screens, or content.
• Work closely with software developers to identify and resolve any issues.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Salary

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from $27 to $35 per hour, based on experience and skills. This position is available for Corp-Corp and W2-Permanent contracts.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a valid work visa, be a US citizen, or have a Green Card, EAD/TN, H4, F1, L2, STEM, OPT, or CPT status. They must also have 0-3 years of experience in IT Software/Services.

Skills

• Experience with QA/Testing, Web Services, Java, Selenium, SOAP UI, Python.
• Experience with QTP, Functional Testing, Manual Testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
