Property Operations Coordinator (with Vehicle) Jobs in eTekIT Services Inc. Schaumburg, IL

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Field Property Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple residential properties in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, handling property visits, coordinating with tenants, and managing light rehab or maintenance projects.You will serve as the on-ground representative for ownership, ensuring all properties are well-maintained, tenants are managed effectively, and rent collections and turnovers are handled smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring units are inspected, documented, and ready for occupancy.
• Coordinate rehab and maintenance work such as painting, cleaning, or light repairs, with vendors and contractors.
• Conduct monthly property drive-bys to ensure exteriors are well-kept and compliant.
• Follow up with tenants regarding late payments, lease renewals, and other issues.
• Deliver 60,90, 5-day notices or other tenant communications in person when required.
• Collaborate with the offshore accounting and admin team to reconcile rent payments and update records.
• Report property conditions, tenant issues, and project progress to ownership.
• Maintain a professional, courteous relationship with tenants and vendors at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (travel between properties required).
• Prior experience in property management, leasing, or maintenance coordination is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks independently.
• Basic knowledge of property maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Comfortable using phone, email, and basic apps for reporting and updates.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly or salary-based pay, depending on experience.
• Mileage reimbursement for property visits. Schedule: Full-time or flexible part-time; must be available for field visits as needed (including some weekends if required).
