Warehouse Manager Jobs in Surfaces by Pacific West Chester, OH

Standard Hours: 8:30am – 6:30pm M-F, 9:30am – 3:00pm 

Duties:

• Create and maintain the Load Schedule each day, working with the Warehouse Manager and the rest of the Operations team to ensure it is implemented.
• Working closely with account managers and other staff to keep accurate and efficient shipping and receiving schedules. 
• Preparing and presenting necessary paperwork to drivers. 
• Prepare and send daily operations report, and weekly operations and sales report.
• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, and quality standards resolve problems; complete audits.
• Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
• Organize the transfer of materials between locations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues.
• Explain to third-party drivers how to safely transport and secure our materials.
• Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout, and needed implement changes.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly inspected and maintained.
• Look for opportunities to expand systems.
• Developing new solutions as new problems arise.
• Ensuring that the department delivers quality offerings to clients.
