Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic QA Automation Tester to join our team in Texas City, TX. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong understanding of QA methodologies, experience with a variety of testing techniques, and a strong knowledge of software QA automation platforms. You will be responsible for conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. This could involve projects related to website development, software applications, and system management.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, creating test data when required.
• Implement automation scripts for application testing and validate automation framework and scripting standards.
• Participate in project meetings with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts.

Salary

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The hourly rate will be in the range of $27 to $35.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in the field of QA testing. Valid work visa, US Citizen, Green Card, EAD / TN, H4, F1, L2, STEM, OPT, CPT are required from a suitable candidate.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, SOAP UI.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, ASP .Net, and Web Services is a plus.
• Familiarity with functional testing, manual testing, and Quality Assurance practices.
