Job Overview

We are seeking an Automated QA Tester to join our team at TekArch Technologies based in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets client needs. This role is key to improving our company's products and applications, making them more reliable and user-friendly for our clients.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, create and implement automated testing procedures for our software applications.
• Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
• Collaborate with the Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
• Identify and document bugs within software.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Salary

The salary for this role ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. This position can be W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, 1099-Contract, or Contract to Hire.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other.
• Valid work visa, US citizen, Green Card holder, EAD / TN, H4, F1, L2, STEM, OPT, CPT.

Skills

• Web Services: Experience in testing and troubleshooting web services.
• Java: Understanding of Java and its applications in software testing.
• Quality Assurance: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Selenium: Proficiency in Selenium for automated testing.
• Python: Familiarity with Python scripting for test automation.
• Load Runner: Experience with Load Runner for performance testing.
• Manual Testing: Ability to perform manual testing when necessary.
• Automation Testing: Experience with various automation testing tools and processes.
• Agile: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
