Job Overview

Are you a solution-oriented QA Automation Tester looking for an exciting opportunity in the IT Software / Services field? TekArch Technologies is looking for a dedicated professional to fill this role in the bustling city of New York, NY. As a QA Automation Tester, you will work with a dynamic team to ensure quality and efficiency in our software services. You will be utilizing your skills in ASP .Net, Web Services, Java, Quality Assurance, Selenium, SOAP UI, QTP / Selenium, Manual Testing, and Web Testing. This role is open to individuals on W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, 1099-Contract with a valid work visa, US Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD / TN, H4, F1, L2, OPT, CPT.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
• Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in QA testing and automation.
• Experience in testing software applications and web services.
• Experience in manual testing, with a keen eye for detail.
• ASP .Net, Web Services, Java, Quality Assurance, Selenium, SOAP UI, QTP / Selenium, Manual Testing, Web Testing.

Skills

• ASP .Net: Experience in developing and testing web applications.
• Web Services: Proficient in testing web services and APIs.
• Java: Basic understanding of Java and its usage in testing.
• Quality Assurance: Experience in ensuring the quality of software applications.
• Selenium, SOAP UI, QTP / Selenium: Proficiency in using these tools for testing.
• Manual Testing: Experience in performing manual tests to ensure the software functions properly.
• Web Testing: Proficient in testing web-based applications.
