The QA Team Lead will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products in the live production environment. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, excellent technical expertise in software testing, and hands-on experience with testing tools like Chrome Dev Tools, XCode, Android Studio, as well as proficiency in using Jira, Xray or TestRail for test management.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Automation Tester to join our growing IT software and services team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks, creating and maintaining test scripts, and ensuring the quality of our web services. This is a full-time position with an attractive salary package ranging from $99,000 to $119,000 yearly. The role is open to US citizens, Green Card holders, and those with a valid work visa.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
• Monitor debugging process results
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Salary

The salary for this position is competitive and ranges from $99,000 to $119,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. There is potential for further growth and rewards based on performance.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus

Skills

• Web Services: Experience in testing and debugging web services.
• Actuate: Proficiency in Actuate for report designing.
• Java: Strong understanding and practical experience in Java.
• QTP/Selenium: Proficiency in QTP/Selenium for automated testing.
• Agile: Experience in Agile development methodologies.
