Smile Preschool has been providing a “preschool as family” environment for 25 years to the children of Jersey City and their parents. We were the first preschool in the area to achieve Abbott certification in education and are always working to provide the highest level of care for your little ones from birth to six years of age, readying them for their next steps in education.

Smile Preschool & Nursery is currently seeking full-time and part-time Nursery School Teachers and Assistants to join the family! All candidates must be able to communicate, listen, and work well with others in a preschool environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Planning and supervising fun and educational activities
• Managing a daily schedule that includes activities, toilet breaks, lunch and rest time
• Observing children and help to keep children clean and safe
• Feeding and changing babies
• Communicating with parents and staff members
• Ensuring the safety of children
• Helping with daily cleaning routine of center
• Assisting head teacher

Qualifications

• Work authorization (Required)
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
• Pay: From $15.00 per hour
