We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in the hospitality

industry. As a Host/Hostess, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service,

ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible welcoming

customers to a food service environment and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service.

Duties include maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service, passing out menus and

accepting phone calls, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. If you have a passion for

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.

• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table.

• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area.

• Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have.

• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff.

• Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties.

• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.

• Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

• Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.

• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in a busy setting.

• Experience in bartending or as a dietary aide is a plus but not mandatory.
