Our esteemed organization, located in Cranford, NJ, is currently in search of a dedicated and professional Import Executive to join our thriving Supply Chain team. We are offering a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 yearly. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all import processes in a cost-effective way with a focus on quality, while complying with all relevant regulations and standards. This is a W2-permanent, full time position. Applicants must have a valid work visa.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all stages of the import process in a cost-effective environment.
• Obtain freight quotes and handle negotiations with Freight Forwarders to find most cost-effective and reliable means of transport.
• Manage all communication with import related authorities, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with Warehouse team to ensure smooth transition of goods.
• Administer all documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices and certificates of origin.

Salary

The salary for the Import Executive position ranges from $40,000 to $60,000 yearly. This compensation is based on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an import role within the Supply Chain or Logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation.
• Good understanding of Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in the Transport/Warehousing industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Skills

• Experience in dealing with customs and freight forwarders.
• Good understanding of the principles of Supply Chain Management.
• Ability to handle logistics and transport issues efficiently.
• Experience in managing warehouse operations.
• Good knowledge of import/export documentation.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 yearly. This is dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.
