According to the report, healthcare field encompasses a bulk of the jobs at the top of the list.
If you are not in the medical field, the report notes that technology skills are in big demand at the moment as well.
Here’s a list of top 15 highest jobs based on the report from glassdoor, along with job descriptions to give you an idea of what a day in one of these jobs are like.
Physician (Median Base Salary: $187,876): Physicians are responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses or injuries. They examine the medical histories of patients, interpret diagnostic examinations and prescribe appropriate medications and treatment.
Pharmacy Manager (Median Base Salary: $149,064): Pharmacy Managers are responsible for ensuring that prescriptions are given in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Patent Attorney (Median Base Salary: $139,272): Specializing in intellectual property, Patent lawyers work with inventors in the patent process to make sure their discoveries are legally protected.
Medical Science Liaison (Median Base Salary: $132,842): These skilled clinical researchers use their exceptional people skills to act as a link between the healthcare industry and product development. They help in taking the latest advancements in therapeutic research to those who are in charge of developing therapeutic products.
Pharmacist (Median Base Salary: $125,847): Dispense drugs prescribed by medical doctors and offer information to patients on the use of medications.
