Full -Time Senior Accountant Jobs in TOTEME New York, NY

TOTEME is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in New York. In this role, you will oversee financial activities across North America, working closely with the operational team in the US and reporting to the VP of North America. You will also be part of the global finance function, led by the CFO, and collaborate regularly with members of the Finance team. As a key bridge between our North American operations and the wider organization, you will lead efforts to enhance our financial processes in the region while driving strategic initiatives in partnership with the global team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee bookkeeping and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows efficiently and effectively.
• Supervise bank payments, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Conduct financial analysis, budget preparation, and performance follow-ups to support business objectives and growth.
• Ensure compliance with US tax regulations, manage audits, and maintain adherence to financial regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Contribute to strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Participate in and contribute to TOTEME’s social and environmental sustainability strategy.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in finance and accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of US financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
• Previous experience in fashion, retail, or a similar industry is preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• The yearly salary for this role ranges between $100,000-120,000, and will be set according to the applicant’s profile, skills and previous experience.
