Registered Nurse (RN/DON) Jobs in Unity MADC Elizabeth, NJ

Requiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in an adult day care setting. Responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care, developing care plans, and ensuring the health and safety of participants.

Key Responsibilities

·        Conduct initial and ongoing health assessments of participants, including physical evaluations and     monitoring vital signs. 
·        Reassess participants every six months or as needed due to changes in condition. 
·        Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with participants, families, and other healthcare professionals. 
·        Document nursing goals and progress in participant records, ensuring compliance with regulatory       standards. 
·        Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders and individual care   plans. 
·        Provide emotional support and education to participants and their families regarding health conditions and care plans. 
·        Foster relationships with clients to enhance their overall wellbeing and satisfaction with care services. 
·        Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions as needed.

·        Maintain safety protocols and monitor the care environment to ensure participant safety. 

 Qualifications

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a valid RN license. 
• Experience: Previous experience in geriatric care or adult day services is preferred. 
• Language Skills- Must know English, Gujarati and/or Hindi
