Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee all human resource functions for our warehouse operations. This role is critical in managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and workforce planning in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, people-focused, and comfortable working closely with warehouse leadership and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for warehouse roles (hiring, onboarding, orientation)
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Oversee attendance, scheduling, payroll coordination, and timekeeping systems
- Manage performance reviews, employee development, and training programs
- Support warehouse managers with workforce planning and staffing needs
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement
- Act as a bridge between management and employees
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience handling high-volume hiring
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
- Proficient in MS Office and HR software systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience in warehouse or distribution center environments
- Familiarity with OSHA, safety compliance, and labor regulations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
