Job Overview

We are seeking a hardworking, trustworthy, and organized Pick-up & Drop-off Driver to join our growing team. As the face of Orange Wash & Fold out in the community, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and professional pickup and delivery of customer laundry orders throughout Hoboken and nearby areas.

This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Pickups & Deliveries: Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver laundry orders to customer locations, ensuring on-time service.
• Order Accuracy: Confirm all laundry bags and orders are properly labeled, accounted for, entered into system, and handled with care before departure and upon delivery.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional service at customer locations and represent the Orange Wash & Fold brand positively.
• Vehicle Care: Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized; perform basic daily checks (fuel, tires, etc.) and report any issues promptly.
• Navigation: Use GPS and route-planning tools to optimize delivery routes within Hoboken and surrounding towns.
• Communication: Coordinate with laundromat staff and management to confirm order status, timing, and report any delays or issues.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required)
• Delivery experience (courier, food, or service delivery) is a plus
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred
• Local knowledge of Hoboken streets and traffic patterns preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and handle stairs regularly
• Must be punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $16 – $19 per hour (plus tips)
• Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
