Block Renovation is on a mission to transform the home renovation experience. We’re building a smarter, more streamlined way to renovate homes by connecting homeowners with top-tier professionals and leveraging technology to simplify every step of the process. As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a vital role in expanding our contractor network—sourcing, engaging, and converting high-quality professionals to join our platform. This is a hybrid role that blends business development, sales outreach, and recruiting strategy. Think: part recruiter, part BDR/SDR.
Responsibilities:
Discover qualified contractors through a variety of channels including online directories, referrals, industry events, and social media platforms.
Conduct high-volume outreach across calls, emails, and LinkedIn/social media to engage potential partners.
Manage and track your contractor pipeline through CRM tools, keeping a close eye on outreach performance and conversion rates.
Deliver persuasive presentations on the value of Block’s platform, tailoring your pitch to resonate with contractors and trade professionals.
Work closely with onboarding, support, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and professional onboarding experience for new contractors.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly goals related to contractor sourcing, sign-ups, and activations.
Qualifications:
You bring 2–3 years of experience in BDR, SDR, sales, business development, recruiting, or a similar outbound-facing role.
You are comfortable with high-volume outreach and have the persistence to follow up and close.
You thrive in a metrics-driven environment and are motivated by hitting (and beating) your targets.
Experience in the construction, home services, or contractor tech space.
