Job Summary:

We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, scripting, and QA methodologies to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).

Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.

Perform test data setup and validation to ensure data accuracy.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

Provide clear test documentation and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. You will be responsible for designing, creating, and executing automation test scripts using Ab Initio, Java, Python, and QTP/Selenium, and working in an Agile environment. This full-time role is available for both W2-Permanent and W2-Contract terms.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation testing tools and infrastructure
• Work closely with manual QA Engineers for automation prioritization and ensure that development and QA are in sync
• Work hand-in-hand with development teams for ensuring the quality of code that gets pushed out to production
• Participate in sprint planning and manage workload to meet deliverables

Salary

The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $85,000 yearly, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 1-7 years of experience in IT Software and Services
• US Citizen, Green Card, H4, L2 Visa holders only
• Strong understanding of automation testing best practices and tools

Skills

• Proficient in Ab Initio (data integration platform)
• Java development skills
• Python scripting skills
• Experience with QTP/Selenium for testing web applications
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
