Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative DevOps Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. As part of our IT Software / Services team, you will play a critical role in the development, testing, and deployment of our software solutions. This is a full-time position with a highly competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per year. This role is open to US Citizens, Green Card holders, and H4 and L2 visa holders.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases. You will cross and merge the barriers that exist between software development, testing, and operations teams. Additionally, you will build automated deployments through the use of configuration management technology, making our software development and deployment process faster and more robust.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges between $75,000 and $85,000 yearly. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

A minimum of 1 to 7 years of experience in the IT Software field.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
Understanding of strategic IT solutions, and ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.

Skills

Knowledge of Ab Initio, a data integration tool used for extracting, transforming, and loading data.
Experience with Informatica, a tool used for data integration and data quality services.
Proficiency in Oracle DBA, a database management system that supports the use of SQL.
Experience with ASP.Net, a framework used for building enterprise-level web applications.
