We have an exciting opportunity available for a Medical Office Receptionist which is onsite in Plano, TX at Questcare Medical Clinic, Primary Care.The Medical Office Receptionist provides administrative support to different functions within the office setting and acts as the first point of contact ambassador.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Thorough understanding of a medical facility's processes and practices.
Flexible and able to multitask with a sense of urgency.
Professional and courteous communication.
Must have flexibility to work in other local clinics to cover shifts as needed.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years of experience in an administrative supporting role required.
Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
A recent graduate of a Medical Office Administration or Medical Office Management program will be considered in lieu of experience.
Prior EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
