Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize the flow of service
Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
Manage reservations and waitlists accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Process customer payments efficiently and accurately at the cashier station
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
Assist with guest inquiries about menu items or restaurant policies as needed
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests feel valued throughout their visit
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism
Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required
Previous serving or guest services experience is advantageous
