Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) processing, and payroll processing.
Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting.
Prepare and file sales/use tax, property tax, and other compliance reports as needed.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis.
Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies.
Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounting department.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
2–5 years of accounting experience preferred (public accounting or corporate).
Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
