Julius Silvert is a Wholesale Specialty Food Distributor seeking a highly motivated Food and Beverage Sales Representative. For over 100 years, our third-generation, family-owned business has proudly served customers along the east coast with the finest ingredients available. We are searching for the right “foodie” to be responsible for selling our products, maximizing sales, and building strong relationships with both new and existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining accounts within assigned territory.
Utilize market trends to identify popular products and anticipate the needs of our accounts to provide exceptional customer service.
Communicate effectively with accounts to identify needs/opportunities to increase sales.
Fulfill all order requests, and communicate to necessary team members.
Monitor the delivery of products to accounts under your supervision to troubleshoot any issues including but not limited to out-of-stock items, damaged items, or special-order items.
Qualifications:
Executive Chef Experience or Specialty Food/Beverage Sales Experience
Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to customer service issues.
Ability to maintain an even temper when assisting clients.
Ability to multitask and follow up, both internally with departments and externally with customers.
