The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of wallcovering products, applications and trends, along with a proven ability to build long-term customer relationships in a field-based sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow wallcovering sales through regular in-person customer visits
Develop and maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, contractors and purchasing agents
Promote and sell wallcovering products for commercial and residential projects
Conduct product presentations, samples reviews, and jobsite or office visits
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, order management, and project support
Track sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline using CRM tools
Stay informed on wallcovering trends, materials, and competitive products
Qualifications:
Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within wallcoverings, interiors, finishes, or building materials
Strong knowledge of wallcovering products, installation methods, and use cases
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Ability to travel regularly within the territory
Preferred Experience:
Background working with designers and architects
Existing relationships within the interiors or design community
Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
