Duties:
Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art.
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance to clients, ensuring they receive personalized recommendations.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the perfect shades and designs for their nails.
Engage in effective communication with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Upsell additional services or products that enhance the client experience while contributing to retail sales goals.
Stay updated on the latest trends in nail technology and techniques to provide innovative services.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere within the salon.
Skills:
Proficient in sanitation practices and maintaining a clean workspace.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledgeable in cosmetology principles related to nail care and aesthetics.
Familiarity with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and hair styling is a plus.
Ability to perform esthetic laser treatments and dermabrasion techniques is advantageous.
Understanding of retail math concepts to effectively manage sales transactions.
Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with clients and team members.
