Accounts Payable Executive Jobs in Sahara Management Plano, TX

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive to manage vendor invoice processing, payment disbursements, and financial record maintenance. The role involves verifying invoices, performing three-way matching (PO, invoice, and receipt), reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments in compliance with company policies.

The candidate will coordinate with internal teams (operations, procurement, finance) and vendors to resolve discrepancies, support month-end closing activities, and generate accounts payable reports. Additional responsibilities include handling purchase orders, supporting new restaurant setups (utilities, licenses, permits, service contracts), maintaining compliance documentation, and reviewing lease and franchise agreements.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording accounts payable data.
• Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits.
• Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
• Verifying discrepancies by and resolving clients’ billing issues.

 Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business (preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

 Qualifications: 

• Prospective candidates must have a valid work visa, US citizenship, or a Green Card. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting is required for consideration for this position.

Salary:

• The pay range we’re offering is $19 - $23 per hour. Specific compensation will be determined by relevant experience and education.

Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and payroll procedures.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables.
