We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in retail sales environments such as grocery stores.
Duties:
Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and quickly
Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries or demonstrations
Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized
Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
Assist in stock replenishment, inventory management, and store cleanliness
Requirements:
Prior experience in retail sales or smoke shop environments preferred
Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
Strong communication skills
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product presentation techniques
