Legacy Healing Center, a premier substance abuse treatment facility in California, is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our culinary team and support our Executive Chef. This per diem, onsite role plays a key part in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to individuals in recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist with the execution of daily meals and snacks according to the established menu
Support the Executive Chef with food prep, inventory, and kitchen operations
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
Follow dietary restrictions and accommodate special dietary needs as necessary
Receive and properly store food deliveries
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or food service setting
ServSafe certification is required
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience in healthcare, treatment, or residential settings is a plus
