FRONT DESK DUTIES

•  Greeting patients and visitors in person and on the phone, creating a welcoming first impression.

• Check Patients in and out, confirm identity and verify insurance information.

• Scan and upload documents such as Ids, Insurance card, referrals and medical forms
• Direct patients to waiting area, exam rooms.
• Managing Patient appointments and follow ups using office scheduling system.
• Collecting co-payments, verifying insurances and processing patient record.
• Keep the reception area organized, clean and stocked with necessary forms and supplies.
• Help with general office task such as filing, copying, e-mail handling and ordering office supplies.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS

• High school Diploma or Graduate preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles, particularly with in medical/ dental setting
• Experience with EHR software and Microsoft office
• Excellent Verbal and telephone etiquette for handling a high volume of patient inquiries.
