Position Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling products and sub-assemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. This role involves electro-mechanical assembly using hand tools and powered screwdrivers in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assembly & Production

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.

• Use powered screwdrivers and other hand tools safely and correctly.

• Follow written work instructions, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.

• Inspect parts for proper fit, alignment, and function.

2. Quality & Documentation

• Check work for accuracy and quality; identify and report defects.

• Complete basic production/assembly records, labels, and checklists as required.

• Follow company quality standards and report any issues to the supervisor.

3. Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and tools.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues.

4. Teamwork & Communication

• Work cooperatively with other assemblers, technicians, and supervisors.

• Communicate any issues with parts, tools, or instructions in a timely manner.

• Support other production tasks as needed.
