Job Summary – Entry-Level Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cloud Engineer to join our infrastructure and DevOps team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts and a strong interest in deploying, managing, and securing cloud-based applications and infrastructure. This role involves working with cloud services, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines to support scalable and reliable environments. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Support the setup and maintenance of virtual machines, containers, storage, and networking in the cloud.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to build and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
Write and maintain scripts for automation using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Learn and help implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Monitor cloud services for performance, availability, and security issues.
Support identity and access management (IAM), backup strategies, and disaster recovery processes.
Document cloud environments, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices in cloud operations and DevOps.
