Front Store Clerk
Your Role:
You are the face of our bakery, responsible for creating a welcoming, efficient, and friendly shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
· Great and sell our daily bread, pastries, and other sweet goods—ensuring product quality and freshness.
· Assist customers with purchases, answer questions, and recommend products tailored to their needs.
· Take phone orders from customers and restaurants for bread, confirming details and delivery times.
· Write detailed sales slips for production, ensuring accuracy to prevent mistakes.
· Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked, following food safety and hygiene standards.
· Communicate clearly with production staff for order accuracy and workflow coordination.
Requirements:
· No prior experience necessary—training provided; bakery or retail background is a plus.
· Strong communication skills in English;
· Reliable, friendly, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Available for 5 days a week, typically 8-5 PM (We are closed Wednesday and Sunday.
Store Manager
Your Role:
You lead our bakery operations, ensuring smooth coordination between production, and delivery—driving both quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
· Call customers and restaurants to take bread orders, building ongoing relationships.
· Consolidate daily bread order numbers for production, ensuring the kitchen has accurate, timely data.
· Prepare and organize delivery slips for drivers, ensuring efficient routing and on-time delivery.
· Support production team as needed—helping with inventory, scheduling, and workflow.
· Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
· Oversee store cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance.
· Train and mentor staff, promoting excellent customer service and teamwork.
· Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues professionally.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in retail management, hospitality, or bakery operations
· Outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
· Tech-savvy—comfortable with phones, order slips, and basic computers.
· Fluency in English.
· Hours are usually 2 pm to 10 pm but can accommodate some flexibility depending on experience and enthusiasm
· Reliable transportation for occasional errands or support tasks.
