Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Management

• Train, coach, and mentor dispensary staff on SOPs, compliance, and product knowledge.
• Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and staffing to meet operational needs.
• Address and resolve staff conflicts professionally, fostering a positive team environment.
• Support performance management and operational oversight under guidance of ownership.

Retail Operations

• Supervise daily sales floor activities, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal SOPs.
• Assist with cash handling, register operations, and vault security procedures.
• Support customer service initiatives to ensure an organized, efficient, and welcoming experience.
• Monitor sales performance and support strategies to improve customer engagement and revenue.

Inventory & Compliance

• Oversee inventory receiving, stocking, tagging, and tracking in POS and METRC.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure dispensary operations adhere to NJCRC regulations and internal SOPs.
• Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.

Financial & Reporting Support

• Assist in cash reconciliation, invoice processing, and payroll tracking.
• Maintain accurate daily reports on sales, inventory, and operational performance.
• Support financial oversight and reporting processes, preparing for potential future management responsibilities.

Facility & Security

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dispensary environment.
• Support facility maintenance, equipment functionality, and safety protocols.
• Enforce security measures, including customer access control and staff safety procedures.

Customer Experience

• Provide knowledgeable guidance on products and promotions.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Support initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
